K Series Frame Sizes
The K series includes the KENB80–500, KEAB100–500, KZN112–800 and KZA112–800 ranges. Different frame sizes cover different rated power and torque ranges. Determine the required frame size from the actual transmitted power and output torque, applying the appropriate service factor.
K Series Frame Size Reference
| Series code | Frame sizes |
| KENB | 80, 100, 125, 160, 200, 250, 280, 320, 360, 400, 450, 500 |
| KEAB | 100, 125, 160, 200, 250, 280, 320, 360, 400, 450, 500 |
| KZN | 112–800 |
| KZA | 112–800 |
Shaft Connection Options
The K series offers keyed hollow shafts and hollow shafts with shrink-disc connections. Some models allow the shrink-disc connection to be assembled on either side. A keyed connection transmits torque through a key and provides a straightforward arrangement for general industrial applications. A shrink-disc connection transmits torque by frictional clamping and facilitates assembly and removal where disassembly or axial adjustment is required.
