Founded in 2001, SANYOO Heavy Industry Group Co., Ltd. combines research and development, manufacturing, sales and service. The Group operates two production bases in Jiangsu and Anhui for its SANYOO Heavy Industry gear reducer brand. The Jiangsu facility occupies nearly 50,000 m². As a specialist industrial gearbox manufacturer, SANYOO has an annual assembly capacity of 200,000 general-purpose gearboxes and 50,000 specialist and custom units.

Production Capacity and Quality Assurance

Modular production, adequate and well-planned component inventories, and an efficient ERP system help SANYOO shorten product lead times. The Group pioneered its “127” customer response model within the industry: 10% of orders, classified as emergency orders, are completed the same day; 20%, classified as expedited orders, are completed within three days; and 70%, classified as standard orders, are completed within ten days. This response model supports dependable delivery for overseas customers.

SANYOO has adapted and further developed advanced European technology as part of its quality improvement programme. Its S, R, K and F series feature fully modular designs. The gears are carburised and hardened to a tooth surface hardness of 58–62 HRC, supporting reliable performance across industrial operating conditions.

The Role of the R Series

The R series is an established part of SANYOO’s product range. It covers power ratings of 0.12–160 kW, torque ratings of 40–18,000 N·m and gear ratios of 1.30–21,545. A solid output shaft is available with foot or flange mounting. The design uses case-hardened helical gears in a parallel-shaft arrangement for compact construction and high transmission efficiency.

Serving Markets in the Middle East and Africa

SANYOO products are exported to Europe, Africa, Asia and other regions. The Group has established long-term strategic partnerships with major Chinese industrial companies, including China First Heavy Industries, Baosteel Group, Shanghai Electric and Zhenhua Heavy Industries. In emerging markets such as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, South Africa, Egypt, Nigeria and Kenya, the R series combines the cost advantages of Chinese manufacturing with continuing improvements in quality control, making it an increasingly trusted option for OEMs and industrial users.
